About Us
- Updated April 10, 2022 -
For over 20 years Got Music DJ Entertainment has taken the stress and the expense out of hiring a DJ and selecting the songs for your wedding ceremony and reception. We do that by providing you with everything needed to plan the music for your ceremony and reception, including:
- A simple contract written in plain language. The contract can be filled out and signed online.
- We are fully insured and can provide your venue with an Acord 25 Form (proof of insurance) if required.
- Comprehensive and flexible wedding ceremony and reception planners. The planners can be filled out and edited online.
- Comprehensive song lists tailored to each of the special traditions, dances and introductions (Cutting Of The Cake, First Dance, Wedding Party Introductions, etc.). You can listen to a 30-second sample of any song on the lists.
- RGBW LED uplighting for the reception venue. Uplighting can be almost any color or color combination.
- RGBWA-UV LED PAR wash lights, and 7-color/7-gobo LED moving-head lighting for the dance floor. The dance floor lighting is securely mounted on top of the speakers. This eliminates the need for tripods, which can be a tripping hazard and take up additional floor space.
- A 16" diameter mirror ball with (2) 60w LED spot lights for the slow dances. The LED spot lights can each be white or one of several colors. The mirror ball stand is directly behind the DJ, uses a flat base to eliminate any tripping hazard and takes no additional floor space from the room.
- Wireless handheld microphones for speeches and toasts. Access to the wireless handheld mics is subject to prior approval by the bride and groom.
- Wireless lavalier/lapel mics for the bride, groom and officiant. The brides mic is white. The groom and officiant mics are black.
- Recordings of your ceremony, speeches and toasts hosted on our server. We send you private, unpublished links to the recordings. You just click on the links and download the recordings. Share the links and the recordings with anyone you wish.
- The entire sound and lighting system can be powered by a single 120VAC 20A outlet.
- A complete backup/second sound system. This system is also used when the wedding ceremony is in a different location than the reception, such as an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. There is no extra charge when this system is used.
- No charge for travel, gas, set up, tear down or meetings.
- Online payments can be made through . You do not need a account to use this service.
- You pay no service charge for payments made by credit/debit card through .
We will not try to upsell you to a more expensive package, because there isn't one. You don't have to decide if you need microphones or dance floor lighting, or if you can afford to have your ceremony, speeches and toasts recorded, because it is all included. There are no add-ons or extras. It's simple: You just decide how long you want to celebrate!
The view from the DJ. With this room configuration the speakers and the dance floor lights are set up along the wall behind the head table, with uplighting along the outer walls. Dance floor lighting is securely mounted on top of speakers, eliminating tripods. The DJ is set up in a small alcove. This set up is flexible enough to work in any room configuration
